An Earth Shattering Fart
Ray Bradburys story was pretty long but what I managed to understand from it was that he is asking us if we had a chance to go back in time would we do it. It also talked about protecting the wildlife at all costs and not harm anything in it.

EMERSON FOR THE YOUNG BUCK
What I've learned so far from Emerson's essay on Self Reliance is that he is sending us messages throughout his understanding or the way he sees things in life. One thing I've remembered clearly is that he tells us not to settle in conformity and to try to avoid it. He has a point in that because if we get used to conformity, then we will never change or get better as a person, whatever doesn't challenge us doesn't change us is what he's trieng to say. He also wants us to follow our own instincts and ideas. I think he is trieng to tell us that we should do whatever we want to do , and not let others be our decision makers. He also pointed out that although we are inventing so much technology and inventing many other things, we are becoming less active or we get lazier. For instance we can't walk a mile without complaining, but back then it was nothing to people. We also can't think with our brains alot of the time we use our phones to help us out with everything. Emersons Self Reliance is a essay full of things to think about.

EMERSON SAID IT
1) Do not think the youth has no force, because he cannot speak to you and me.
2) Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of your own mind.
3) Absolve you to yourself, and you shall have the suffrage of the world.
4) My life is for itself and not for a spectacle.
5) With consistency a great soul has simply nothing to do.
